Potty Hammock

I am a Pediatrician in general practice. I spend countless hours each week discussing potty training with families. I always stress the importance of consistency. When a child is ready to potty train, families have to have a plan in place to provide the easiest access to the potty as possible. I recommend that families take the potty with them to the back yard or to play dates away from home activities. This sometimes becomes difficult to do because most potty chairs are not easily carried while shopping or traveling. When one of my patients’ fathers designed the Potty Hammock and asked me to review the idea, I reluctantly agreed to entertain him. I was happily surprised to find a device that makes very good sense. In fact, I was upset that I had not come up with the idea myself! The Potty Hammock allows for perfect portability and consistency! With the Potty Hammock, some families are even giving up on the traditional in-home potty chair and utilizing the Hammock at home. I am now offering the Potty Hammock to all of my patients.

The Potty Hammock is an excellent product because of its reliability, safety and ease of use. For our daughter, it helped to promote her confidence and increased her interest to use the large toilet at home and in public places. As parents, we enjoyed the security and peace of mind that our child is safe while using the large toilet, especially in public places where germs can be an issue. The Potty Hammock has really helped make potty training a positive experience.

My daughter really loves the Potty Hammock! I love the fact that it's washable and really easy to use. But the best part is that it's very comfortable for my daughter to use. She doesn't get pinched like she did on the hard plastic seat that she used to use. I highly recommend the Potty Hammock for any parent potty training their child.

At first, I wasn’t sure if my son would use the Potty Hammock, but I soon found that he loves it... and so do I! He understands using the big toilet a lot better. Sometimes he ends up peeing on the Hammock, but it’s OK because it’s so easy to clean. I have mentioned it to everyone I get into conversations with about potty training as I know a lot of families who have kids who are the right age for this. Each day is a new development with my son, and I can’t wait to be diaper free. After all, it’s less expensive!
