I am a Pediatrician in general practice. I spend countless hours each week discussing potty training with families. I always stress the importance of consistency. When a child is ready to potty train, families have to have a plan in place to provide the easiest access to the potty as possible. I recommend that families take the potty with them to the back yard or to play dates away from home activities. This sometimes becomes difficult to do because most potty chairs are not easily carried while shopping or traveling. At first, I wasn’t sure if my son would use the Potty Hammock, but I soon found that he loves it... and so do I! He understands using the big toilet a lot better.
